Early in the morning on Wednesday, February 5th, Hermana Goold left the Provo MTC and headed to the Salt Lake City Airport. We heard from her briefly before her flight left, but have only heard secondhand updates since then.
I received this photo via text from a woman from DC who was on their flight. She was very sweet and sent kind wishes along with the picture. Her daughter had served in LA and they had family in Ventura, so I think felt a special sort of connection.

Later these two photos were posted to the Ventura Mission Facebook page....
We think that may be the Burbank Airport they landed at, but aren't 100% sure. We will be sure to ask her on her p-day this coming week.
A little later on I received this sweet photo from Malia, one our Thailand friends. She is from Ventura and just started HMTC this past week. She is on her way to Bolivia. It was a fun coincidence that they got to see each other and a tender mercy for me to get another photo in this week where she misses a p-day and I hear very little.
Lastly, the next day this photo was posted to the Mission FB page. It's her with her new mission leaders!
Since then I've heard nothing and am eagerly awaiting to hear where her first area is and who her trainer is and how her Spanish is coming, etc.
More updates coming soon...
